Zelma Frances Wilson

Zelma Frances Wilson, 72, passed away Tuesday January 25, 2022 in Frankfort. She was born in Owen County the daughter of the late Chester and Locket Beckham Smith. She was also preceded by a son Tony Wilson and siblings, W.T. Smith, Clarence Smith, Bessie Walker Whitaker and Joyce Barnes. She worked at Fruit of the Loom for 30 years and was very skilled at her job. Zelma loved to make people happy by helping in any way she could. She loved her family and would do anything for them. She is survived by her husband Donnie Wilson whom she married on November 7, 1993. Also surviving are her children, Ira Douglas Lewis Jr., Yolanda "Kitty" Diaz, Corey (Amy) Jones, Teri Cook, Dwayne Wilson and Jeff (Charity) Wilson, 2 brothers, Jack and Chester Smith Jr., 5 sisters, Barbara Purvis, Thelma House, Shirley Ballard, Vickie Robey and Janie Belle Collins, 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 5PM at the Seminary Street location. Visitation will be on Sunday beginning at 2.
