W.T. Neal

W.T. Neal, 90, of Owenton, died Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born December 13, 1918, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Elmer and Ozelia Rose Neal and the widower of Aretta Juett Neal. Mr. Neal was a farmer and a member of the Richland Baptist Church Mr. Neal is survived by his son, Larry (Sandra) Neal; two daughters, Joan (Donnie) Hedrick and Judy (Melvin) Brooks all of Owenton; six grandchildren, Stephen and Sally Anne Hedrick, Kristi Pruitt, Jonathan and Michael Neal and Larae Sloan and seven great grandchildren, Ryan, Kaitlin, Sarah, Grace, Nathan, Taylor and Leighann. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Monday, January 19th, from 4-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 11am Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Richland Baptist Church.
