Willie "W.B." Bramblett

Willie B. "W.B." Bramblett, age 76, of Owenton passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Owen County the son of the late Twyman and Mary Katherine Johnson Bramblett and was also preceded by his siblings Mary Frances Crawford, Roy Bramblett and Norma Jean Woods. He was a lifelong farmer raising tobacco for many years. B was also partners with lifelong friend Bob Davis in the bulldozing business. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. Surviving are his wife, FaDana Riddle Bramblett; his son, Troy Bramblett; his daughters, Tracy (Scott) Allnutt and Stephanie (Scott) Howard. Also surviving are his sisters, Sarah (Gene) Clifton, Elizabeth (Gene) Goodrich and Betty Goodrich, grandchildren, Brad, Brittany (JP) Cook, Bethany, Taylor, Evan, Colby, Braden, Hannah and Rachel and great grandchildren, Trinity, Clayton, Brennan and Lincoln. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday with burial in the Monterey Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Hill Baptist Church, the American Cancer Society or Monterey Cemetery.
