William Porter Tackett

William Porter Tackett, 25, of Carrollton, passed away Friday, July 2nd from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Born December 14, 1984, in Frankfort he is the son of William Hammonds of Sanders and Lisa Tackett Stewart of Carrollton. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jennifer Kemp Tackett and his children Oliva Rose and Braydon Daniel Tackett; his brother, Steven Stewart and sister, Christianna Stewart all of Carrollton. A host of aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes where family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Monday from 3-6pm. Funeral services will follow at 6pm with Bro. Gary Hager presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tackett family in care of the funeral home.
