William A. Sturgeon, age 94 and a resident of Warsaw, passed away Thursday, December 13th. Born in May of 1918, he was the son of the late William T. Sturgeon and May Bickers Sturgeon. Bill was also preceded in death by two daughters: Phoebe Eads and Judy Sturgeon. William served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was also the Building inspector for the city of Covington Kentucky and member of the Colonel Clay Masonic Lodge # 159. William is survived by his wife, Betty Daniels Sturgeon; one son: William E. Sturgeon of Warsaw; one daughter: Jean Brann of Union Ky; one brother: Joseph Sturgeon and one sister: Mary Wallace. Six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive. Graveside services will be held at the Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery North in Williamstown Ky. Services will be Wednesday, December 19th beginning at 11am. Bro. Randy Wallace will be officiating.
