William Daniel Renfro

William Daniel Renfro, 48, died Sunday Aug. 28, 2011 at the New Horizons Medical Center in Owenton. Born May 6, 1963, in Owen County, he was the son of the late William Kenneth Renfro. Billy worked in the construction trade as a heavy machine operator and a truck driver. He also served his county in the United States Army. Surviving are his wife, Tamatha Havens; his mother, Dorothy Clifton Cook of Owenton; his son, Ian Wyatt Gunkler of Lexington; his daughter Garnet Elise Owen of Frankfort; his brother, Deshayne Cook of Gratz and his sister, Angie Renfro of Owen County. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Monterey Fire Department on Wednesday, August 31st from 11am to 1pm. Funeral Services will follow at 1pm with Bro. David “Milkweed” Wotier presiding.
