William Ronald Hammond

William Ronald Hammond, 76, passed away at his home on December 26, 2019. He was born in Owen County the son of the late William Lee and Francis Wilson Hammond. He graduated from Owen County and worked for Star Manufacturing for many years. He loved hunting and fishing, U. K. Athletics and had a great work ethic that he instilled in his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Hammond, two children, Suzanne Michele Carmichael and William "Bill" Hammond Jr., four grandchildren, Jeremy Lee Hicks, Mikal LeAnne Tucker, William Joshua Hammond and Leslie Allison Honaker, six great grandchildren, Olivia and Alyssa Tucker, Hannah Hicks, Addison, Aubrey and Stevie Hammond. Two step children, Buddy Mullins and Tammy (Hobert) Miller and a brother James Robert (Diane) Hammond also survive.  A memorial service will be held Sunday December 29 at 7PM at McDonald & New - Seminary St. Visitation begins at 5PM.
