William Dee “Bill” Dryden, age 80 and a resident of Warsaw passed away Saturday, November 17th, at his home. Born December 17, 1931, he was the son of the late James William Dryden and Ruby Elizabeth Miles Dryden. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Beth Charlotte Phillips Dryden and one sister: Norma Jean Ballard. Bill was a retired landscaper and served his country in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his companion of 20 years, Helen Raisor; Three sons: Anthony William Dryden (Robin Costello) of Sparta, Terry Gordon Dryden (Linda Howard) of Union, Kelly Andrew Dryden (Micha) of Sparta; three daughters: Karen Elizabeth Bannick (Skip) of Warsaw, Sharon Smith (Wil) of Loveland, OH, Shannon Lynn Stephenson (Daryl) of Warsaw; two step-daughters: Rebecca Faye Renee Garrett of Erlanger and Helen Elizabeth Prosser of Warsaw; one brother: James “Jimmy” Dryden of Carrollton and one sister: Eva Mae Williamson of Warsaw. Sixteen grandchildren and Fifteen Great Grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 20th, from 4 until 8pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 21st, and will begin at 1pm. Bro. Mark Sanders and Bro. Darrell Maines will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Warsaw Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan and Brett Dickerson, Blake, Joshua and Drew Dryden, Nolan and Taran Stephenson and Kevin Rassman. Memorial contributions are suggested to Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home or the Hospice of the Bluegrass.
