William Yeager “Billy” Chipman, 63 and a resident of Warsaw, passed away Saturday, June 5th, at his home. Born in 1946, he is the son of Aileen Osborne Chipman of Warsaw, and the late Chester Chipman. Billy was a member of the Warsaw United Methodist Church. He served the community as Squad Driver and Dispatcher with the Gallatin County EMS. He also served as Warsaw Constable and Assistant Chief of the Gallatin County Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shirley Higgins Chipman of Warsaw; two daughters: Lanette Morrison (Doyle) of Ghent and Derina Doolin (Branden) of Warsaw; and one sister: Ruthie Niebergall (Kenney) of Warsaw. Billy is also survived by three grandchildren: Jama, Savanah, and Autaum. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 8th, from 4 until 8pm at the Warsaw United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at the church on Wednesday, June 9th, at 2pm. Rev. Darrell Maines will be officiating and burial will follow in the Warsaw Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Family or the Warsaw United Methodist Church. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Webb, Barry Alexander, Jerry Hunt, Walter Smith, Branden Doolin, Clifford Higgins and Clifton Higgins.
