William Howard Adams

Mr. William Howard Adams, age 85, of Owenton passed away Wednesday, July 18th at his home. Born June 15, 1927, in Woodford County he was the son of the late Joseph Andrew and Mary Liza Huff Adams. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Ronnie Renfro and his sisters, Della Mae Bruner and Virginia Belle Powers. Mr. Adams was a farmer and a member of the Elk Lick Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Hannah Johnson Adams; his children, Mary Elizabeth (Charles) Catron of Stamping Ground, Bonnie Marie Glass, Joan Gayle (Terry) Kincaid, Patsy Ann Marshall all of Owenton and William Ray (Lynn) Adams of New Castle. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Melissa, Daniel, Wayne, Tommy, Jesse, Jalie, Beth, Michael and Michelle and four great grandchildren, McKayla, Lauren, Mackenzie and Nathan. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, July 20th from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21st at 11am with Bro. John Thomas and Bro. Michael Kincaid officiating. Burial will be in the Stamping Ground Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elk Lick Baptist Church.
