Willard Alexander Stewart, Jr.

Willard Alexander Stewart, Jr. age 59, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.Born March 11, 1955, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Willard and Virginia Hawkins Stewart.  He was also preceded in death by his brother Gerald Stewart.  Willard was a machinist for Bendix and a member of the Salem Baptist Church.Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Linda Alexander Stewart; his daughter Wilinda (Jason) Ward of Henderson, KY; his grandchildren, Ryan Keith Ward and Hunter Alexander Ward and his brother, William Ray Stewart, of Owenton.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Monday, March 24th from 4-8pm.  Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday with burial in the Owenton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
