Wil Roberts

Wilburn "Wil" Roberts, age 49, of Owenton, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Born August 25, 1973, in Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late Jerry and Anna Sebastian Roberts.  He was preceded in death by his siblings, Lloyd Roberts and Linda Roberts and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Abner and David Wainscott. Wil was a truck driver and Mustang enthusiast.  He owned over 40 Mustangs, he built for drag racing, in his. most recently a 2014. Wil also enjoyed hunting and was frequently checking his trail cams.

He will be missed by his siblings, Lonnie (Shelly) Roberts, Pouline Abner, Wanda Wainscott, Gary Roberts, and Donald Eugene Roberts; several nieces and nephews; and his best friends, Joey O'Banion and Curtis Patton.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Roberts Family Cemetery in Booneville, KY, with Bro. Simmie Bowling presiding.
