Wayne Reynolds

Jasper "Wayne" Reynolds, age 69, of Corinth, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022, at his home.

Born June 14, 1953, in Woodford County, he was the son of the late Henry Newton and Lillie Edith Wheeler Reynolds and was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles newton Reynolds and Henry Clayton Reynolds.  Wayne carried on his family tradition of being a talented painter for over 50 years. He was baptized in the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as raising a garden. He was an avid UK fan and always enjoyed a game of pickup basketball with his brothers, where he could show off his 'famous' hook shot. There was nothing he enjoyed more than being a grandad to his grandkids.

Wayne will be deeply missed by his children, Jessica (Jason) Duncan and Nathaniel Reynolds; his grandchildren, Kailyn Duncan, Caden Reynolds and Liam Reynolds; and his siblings, Lil (Pat) Schweighardt, Larry Reynolds, Tommy (Peggy) Reynolds, Mike Reynolds, Tim (Kim) Reynolds, Andy Reynolds, and Mark Polard.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 10 am until Noon.  Funeral Services will follow at Noon with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens and memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators Hospic e.
