Wavie Jean Renfro

Wavie Jean Renfro, 76, passed away Monday June 12, 2017 at her home in Dry Ridge, KY. She was the daughter of the late Chester G. and Louedna Wainscott Hammonds. She was also preceded by her husband, William Renfro and her siblings, Louise Wilhoite, Frances Smithers, Ann Jones, Jake and Stanley Hammonds. She was a member of the Cherry Grove Pentecostal Church, was a former employee at Union Underwear and later owned her own house cleaning business. She is survived by her children, Annette (Todd) Howard, Jackie Gambrell and Chuck (Jackie) Fiscus, her sisters, Mary Elizabeth Silvey, Sylvia Switzer, Betty Turton and Ruth Epperson and a brother, Larry Hammonds. Ten grandchildren, Derrick, Craig, April, Ryan, Tiffany, Chelsey, Carly, Colton, Courtney and Brad and sixteen great grandchildren also survive.Visitation is Thursday June 15 from 5 to 8 and the funeral is on Friday at 11 AM both at McDonald & New Funeral Home - Main St. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorials may be made to the Cherry Grove Pentecostal Church.
