Ward Marston Smith

Mrs. Ward Marston Smith, age 95, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Owenton Manor. Born January 13, 1917, in Owen County, she was the daughter of late Duward and Eloise Marston and the widow of Herbert Lee "Hub" Smith. Ward was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Greenup Fork Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, John (Debbie) Smith; her sister in law, Thelma Marston; grandchildren, Josh (Lindsay) Smith and Katie Smith; great grandchildren, Hatcher, Hayes and Salem. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at Seminary Street location on Tuesday from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenup Fork Baptist Church.
