Wanda Wilhoite Works

Wanda Wilhoite Works, 69, of Lusby’s Mill, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at the St Luke Hospital in Florence. Born November 9, 1939, in Monterey, she was the daughter of the late David E. and Gladys Marie Tillet Wilhoite and was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Tolbert Works. Wanda was a retired social worker for the Owenton Social Services office. Wanda is survived by son, David (Connie) Wilhoite; three grandchildren, Shaun (Taylor) Wilhoite, Jessica Wilhoite and Sarah Wilhoite; and one great grandson, Sawyer Davis Wilhoite. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Monday, February 2nd, from 4-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 1pm. Burial will be in Monterey Cemetery.
