Wanda Lee Roberts

Wanda Lee Roberts, age 73, of Florence, passed away at her home on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

Born February 13, 1948, in Pikeville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Akers Hamilton. She was a homemaker who loved nothing more than caring for her family, feeding them delicious meals, and being a wonderful Mammaw to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always positive, with kind words for everyone, and enjoyed visiting the beach.  When she was able she enjoyed gardening and loved hummingbirds.

She will be missed by her husband, Richard Roberts; her children, Tonya Roberts ad David Roberts; her grandchildren, Lanous Stayton, Candace (Grant Smith) Stayton, Shea Roberts, Malleah Roberts, and Colton Link; her great-grandchildren, Lanous Stayton, IV, and Addilynn Stayton; as well as her sisters, Barbara Turner, Roberta Wenzel, and Jewel Johnson.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Honoring Wanda's wishes, there will be no services.
