Wanda L. Gaines, 79, passed away at her home on June 3, 2016. She was born in Owen County the daughter of the late Robert Gaines. She worked as a custodian at Bowling Middle School. She is survived by a nephew, Larry Wild and a niece, Kim Smith. The funeral is on Tuesday at 1 PM with visitation starting at 11 AM at McDonald & New Funeral Home - Main St. Burial will follow in the Owenton Cemetery.
