Owenton - Violet Marie Kent, 87, widow of Ormal F. Kent, died Monday March 19th at the Owenton Manor, Owenton, KY. She was born in Manhattan, KS, to Charles and Leila Savage. She retired from Security Benefit after many years of service and spent her remaining years enjoying her retirement. She is survived by her son, Richard Charles Kent and daughter-in-law, Beverly Burks, a granddaughter, Rebecca Marie (Harold) Nixon and a grandson Adam Kent. A private service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
