In Loving Memory of Victoria "Vickie" Renee Hollifield Edwards
October 7, 1953 – December 24, 2025
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Victoria Hollifield Edwards, age 72, of Covington, Louisiana. She departed this life peacefully on December 24, 2025, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, surrounded by family and immense love.
Born on October 7, 1953, in Louisville, Kentucky, Victoria was the cherished daughter of Clen and Gladys Hollifield. She was raised in a warm and lively home alongside her siblings —Brenda, Mary Ann, Johnnye, and Mike—all lifelong Kentuckians who shared a deep familial bond.
In 1971, Victoria graduated from Daviess County High School in Owensboro, KY, and began her academic journey at Western Kentucky University. She later earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from the University of Louisville, graduating in 1978. During this time, she proudly served in the Kentucky National Guard, exemplifying her deep sense of patriotism and her enduring commitment to service.
Victoria’s life was marked by a passion for health and wellness. She became a dynamic entrepreneur and speaker in the nutritional products industry, inspiring many with her dedication to helping others lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Her warmth, compassion, and authenticity made her a beacon of encouragement to all who knew her.
For nearly three decades, Victoria was a beloved and devoted staff member at the Christwood Retirement Community in Covington, Louisiana. Victoria held many positions at Christwood over the years; her most recent and cherished role was that of Resident Liaison, where she brought joy, comfort, and companionship to countless residents and colleagues. Her radiant spirit, boundless generosity, and unwavering kindness left an indelible mark on the community she served so faithfully.
Above all, Victoria treasured her family. She especially found joy in spending time with her two grandchildren, Ava and Abraham Edwards. Her deep faith and abiding love for Christ were the foundation of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her.
Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, Clen Wallace Hollifield and Gladys Sword Hollifield; her brother Johnnye Clen Hollifield; and her sister Mary Ann Hollifield Buchanan. Victoria is survived by her three loving sons, Judson Michael Edwards (Courtney), Jared Stephen Edwards, Joshua Logan Edwards, and their father Judson Vincent Edwards; her two grandchildren, Ava Mae Edwards and Judson Abraham Edwards; her sister Brenda Hollifield Ovington (Chet) and her brother Michael Lee Hollifield (Pat); and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Her legacy of love, faith, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, we find comfort in the promise of the Resurrection and the hope of a joyful reunion.
We love you forever, Mom.
