Vickie Sue Woolums

Vickie "Lou" Woolums, age 63, passed away Friday, March 14th, 2025.

Born June 29, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Lillard and Norma Jean "Tuddie" Ellis Woolums.

Vickie loved cheering for her favorite team the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball team and you could often find her with a diet coke in her hand while watching basketball or her crime shows. Vickie loved to spend her free time at the beach especially when she was surrounded by her family.

Vickie will be missed by her son, Joshua Dwayne Woolums; her brother, Wayne Woolums; sister, Diane Woolums; grandsons, Kobe, Kamden, and Keegan Woolums; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers; Donnie Glen and Gary Allen Woolums.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm with Bro. Robert Cable presiding.  Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
