Vicki Hawkins Melford

Veronica Faye "Vicki" Melford, age 55, of Owenton passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Born February 25, 1965, in Owen County, she was the daughter of Florian Hawkins and Bonnie Faye Smith Keith.  Vicki babysat for many children throughout the years and was a member of the Baptist faith.  She was a devoted friend to many and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Vicki is survived by her children, Brittany, Daniel, and Lindsey Melford and her brothers, Steve (Kim) Hawkins, Chris Keith, and Doyle Keith as well as a host of extended family and friends.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Private family services will be observed and a memorial service will follow at a later time.  To honor Vicki's memory donations are suggested to Owen County Friends of Animals.
