Vermelle Rose West

Vermelle Kay Rose West, age 66, of Owenton, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, October 8, 2021, at the Owenton Manor following a long illness.

Vermelle was born on December 20, 1954, to Howard Rose, Jr. and Viola Potts Rose who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Gary Lee Tackett and Bobby Gene Rose. Her family, faith, and love of the Lord were very important to her. She was a former member and youth leader at Beechwood Assembly of God and was a current member at Crossroads Assembly in Eminence.

She is survived by her sons, Jeremy Lynn Olds and Jason Bryan Olds; her grandchildren, Jalane (Alexis) Olds, Mayson Olds, Emily Olds, and Jenna Olds; her great-grandson, Bryson Olds; her sisters, Shirley Rose Perkins, Wilma Rose Christopher, and Connie Rose Bickers; her brother Larry Rose; and several nieces and nephews; all who loved her dearly and will miss her deeply.

A memorial gathering to honor Vermelle's life will be held from 11 am until 2 pm, on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Epoch Fellowship Church in Owenton.
