Thomas Kemper Jr., 81, passed away Saturday April 8, 2017 in Frankfort. He was born in Owenton on July 16, 1935 the son of the late Thomas E. and Nettie Wallace Kemper. He was also preceded by his wife Dolores Hammond Kemper and his siblings, Boss, Joyce and Roxie Kemper and Joe, Harry, Reece, Charles R., Bogie, Clarence, Louis, Jim, Juelle, Clora, Mae and Hallie Holbert and Maymie Rose. He was a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church, a former sheriff for eight years, always a farmer, loved fishing and ran a small engine repair shop.He is survived by his children, Teresa (Wayne) Davis, Billy (Marsha) Kemper and Mark (Melissa) Kemper, a sister Pauline Cornett and grandchildren, Rachel (Shane), Charity (Billy), Brandy (Chris), Gena (Ryan), Tiffany (Hubie) Ashley (Sarah) Eko (Nick) Tater (Ginger), Tammy (Eddie) and Tracy (Mark), great grandchildren, Victoria, Michelle, Jay (Jodi) Jullena (Brad), Chase, Kolt, Kaleigh, Kadence, Kendall, Corey, Hunter, Paul Wayne and Danielle (Ben) and one great great grandchild Ellanore along with several nieces nephews and cousins. Visitation is Monday from 4 to 8 and the funeral is on Tuesday morning at 11 at McDonald & New - Main St. Burial will follow in Monterey Cemetery and memorials may be made to Monterey Cemetery or Elk Lick Baptist Church.
