Tommy Carver

Tommy Carver, 82, passed away Tuesday Oct. 29 in Lexington. He was born in Owen County the son of the late Everett and Isa Conley Carver. He was also preceded in death by a daughter Dawn Ellen Carver. Tommy was a farmer raising beef cattle, operating a dairy and raising tobacco. He was a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church where he served as Cemetery Trustee. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving are his wife Anna Mae Goodrich Carver, his two daughters, Teena (Kelly) Gamble and Debbie Sigretto, four grandchildren, Collin, Madison and Molly Gamble and Nash Croley. Visitation is Friday Nov. 1 from 11AM til 4PM. The funeral will begin at 4PM at McDonald & New Main Street. Burial will follow in the Poplar Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Poplar Grove Cemetery.
