Tina Marie Bitzer

Tina Marie Bitzer, 48, of Owenton passed away Tuesday, June 29th, at the UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. Born November 8, 1961 in Dayton, OH she was the daughter of the late Paul and Patricia Vagedes Borns and was also preceded in death by her sister Becky Murphy. Tina was a former clerk for Wal-Mart. She is survived by her daughter Colleen Bitzer of Owenton; one sister, Vikki Rebholz of West Chester, OH; four brothers, Steve Borns of Garrett, IN, Patrick Borns of Dayton, OH, Chris Borns of Kettering, OH and Pete Borns of Olmsted Falls, OH. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday from 11am to 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. David “Milkweed” Wotier presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the Colleen Bitzer Fund c/o McDonald & New Funeral Home.
