Timothy Ray Tolbert

Timothy Ray Tolbert, age 57, of Owenton, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Grant County. Born July 1, 1955, in Owenton he was the son of the late James "Jimmy" Tolbert and was preceded by his siblings, Wayne, Chris, Pamela and Virginia. Timmy was employed by Gotec Plus Sun in Williamstown and was a member of the Southeast Christian Church in Louisville. Timmy was also a motorcycle enthusiast. Surviving are his wife, Paulette Cobb Tolbert; his mother, Barbara Lykins of Kansas City, MO; his daughters, Elisha and Gracie Tolbert of Louisville and Allison Virginia Tolbert of Owenton; his brother, Terry Dale TOlbert of Kansas City, MO; his sisters, Theresa Chandler of Owenton and Shelly Jo Wadell of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, Aaliyah and Brionna Robinson, Cameren Covyeow and Meiah Portwood. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, March 28 from 11am until 3pm. Funeral services will follow at 3pm with Bro. Jesse Bourne and Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Mussel Shoals Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mussel Shoals Cemetery or the American Heart Association.
