Thomas Edward Toole

Thomas Edward Toole, 76, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012 following a brief illness. He was born September 12, 1936, the third child of James Paul and Anna Catherine Sharon Toole. He was also preceded by three siblings James Lewis and his wife Doris Toole, Virginia and her husband Eddie Joseph and Alice Rose. He worked for Bluegrass Motors and Saveway Supermarket several years and then purchased the Toole Motel, after selling that business he spent the rest of his days enjoying family and friends. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed the local TV ministry He is survived by a brother, Ralph (Patsy) Toole of Owenton, sisters, Mary (Jim) Cheek of Somerset, Jackie (Walter) Sageser of Lexington and Judy (Danny) Jacobs of Owenton. A brother-in-law Gene Rose, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, November 27th from 11 am until 2pm. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Rev. David Wotier and Todd Toole officiating. Burial will follow in the Owenton I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
