Thomas Gayle Miller

Thomas Gayle "Tommy" Miller, age 76, of Owenton, passed away Monday, April 9th at the Owenton Manor. Born December 13, 1935, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Robert "Bob" and Katherine Long Miller. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris McClure Miller and his sister Geraldean Miller. Tommy was a retired farmer. Surviving are his children, Tommy Miller, Jr., Dale Miller, Doug Miller, Gene Miller and Donna Miller all of Owenton; his brothers, Charlie and Danny Miller; sisters, Thelma Baumgartner, Anna Dews, Pauline Cox and Cora Belle Stivers. Six grandchildren also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Wednesday, April 11th from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday with Bro. Kieth Miller presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
