Thomas Dean, Jr.

Thomas Dean, Jr. age 50, of Owenton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

Thomas was born on Valentine's Day in 1973, in Lexington, to the late Iva Betsy Kinman Dean and Thomas Floyd Dean who survives. He was a 1992 graduate of Owen County High School and worked for many years for Tuggle's Lawn Care.  He loved spending time with family and friends and was often seen driving thru town, giving people rides or running errands for others. He enjoyed attending truck pulls and demolition derbies, and watching NASCAR.

Thomas will be missed by many, including his father, Tommy Dean; his siblings, Elizabeth Tadeo, Julie Ramirez, and Jaime (Ashlie) Dean; his nieces and nephews, Hailey, Martha, Iva, Joe, Josh, Gabe, and Marvin; his great nieces and nephews, Americas, Jeremiah, Leland, Aviana, Lucas, Leroy, Arturo, Athena, Roman, Tyler, Malachi, Briella, and Leo; as well as a host of extended family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Loucks, niece Jasmine, and nephew James Thomas.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A memorial service to honor Thomas' life will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 2 pm.  Visitation will begin at 1pm.  Bro. Darren Wolford will officiate and memorial contributions are encouraged to New Funeral Homes for expenses.
