Theodore "Ted" Mount, Sr.

Theodore "Ted" Mount, Sr., age 74, of Owenton passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.Born April 1, 1943, in Cincinnati Ohio, he was the son of the late Theodore and Melba Paul Mount.  He was preceded in death by his grandson, Todd Anthony Mount, Jr and his siblings, Flo Doggett, Carol Ferrell, Charles, Harriet and Deborah Jean Mount.  Ted was a former clerk and was a maintenance technician for the federal government and a member of  Owenton First Baptist Church.  He enjoyed rooting for the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals and also enjoyed camping.He is survived by his wife, Lola Haynes Mount; his children, Brenda Mount of Cincinnati, Theodore "Teddy" (Holly) Mount of Sanders, Tony Jo Mount of Crittenden, Todd Anthony (Hope) Mount of Corinth; sixteen grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 11 am until 1 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with burial in the Owenton Cemetery.
