Thelma Roland Marston

Thelma Roland Marston, 96, passed away Thursday March 5, 2015 at the Owenton Manor. She was born in Owen County the daughter of the late Roy and Jessie Threlkeld Roland. She was also preceded by her husband C.B. Marston and siblings Mary Betty Baldwin, Alma Jean Allnutt and Roy Cecil "Bub" Roland. Thelma was a retired Owen County Circuit Clerk with over 40 years of service. She was also a member of the Owenton First Christian Church and loved antiques, playing cards, crosswords and quilting. Surviving are her two sons, Larry (Linda) Mason of LaGrange and Gene Harris (Beverly) Mason of Owenton, five grandchildren, Suzanne Mason (Hillary), Shannon (Tim) Cobb, Mike (Laura) Mason, Leigh (Bryan) New, and Brittanie (Ben) Weaver, eight great grandchildren, Courtney (Wes) Combs, Brandon, Tyler and Caitlynn Mason, Devon and Chamberlin Cobb, Colton and Bradon New and also a great great grandson Jackson Combs. Visitation is Monday March 9 from 4 to 8 and the funeral on Tuesday at 11 AM both at McDonald & New - Seminary St. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorials may be made to Owenton First Christian Church.
