Texia Prather Warren

Texia Prather Warren, 88, passed away Saturday Nov. 12, 2011 in Frankfort. She was born in Owen County the daughter of the late James and Ida Tate Sorrell. Her husbands, Gayle Prather and John Warren, two sisters, Marie Covington and Bessie Byrd and one brother Sherman Sorrell, also preceded her. She was a custodian for Peoples Bank and a member of the Hesler Assembly of God. Her son, Danny and wife Vicki Prather and her daughter Shirley and husband Leslie Wainscott both of Frankfort survive her. A granddaughter Leslie Ann Long and two great grandchildren, Justin and Ashley Long also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday from 4 to 8. Funeral services will be at 1pm Wednesday at the Hesler Assembly of God Church with Bro. Larry Adkins presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
