Teresa Ann Walker

Teresa Ann Walker, 57, passed away Tuesday June 29, 2021 in Lexington. She was born in Frankfort on November 14, 1963 the daughter of Bobby Glen and Mary Louise Howell Smoot. Teresa worked for the Kentucky Department of Revenue for the last 20 years and prior to that worked at Farmers Bank in customer service. She loved her children and her trips to the beach and flowers. She was a Kentucky Colonel. One of her favorite things was Saturday night Mexican food. She is survived by her husband Troy Walker, her children, Timothy and Tiffany Walker, her mother Mary Louise Smoot, two grandchildren, Marlie and Lynndon, her sister, Tina Lilly, three nieces, Amanda, Nichole and Kylie, one nephew, Brandon, her mother and father-in-law, Mary Lou and Buddy Walker, and her sister-in-law Tonya Lindsay. Visitation will be on Friday July 2 from 11AM til 1PM at McDonald & New - Seminary St. The funeral will begin at 1PM and burial will follow in Owenton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Special Olympics of Kentucky.
