Teresa Lynn Sharon

Teresa Lynn Walker Sharon 45, of Owenton passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit in Edgewood. Born May 14th, 1968, in Owen County, she was the daughter of Donald and Nancy Harvey Walker of Owenton. She worked at the New Horizons Medical Center in Medical Records and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sharon and her brother, Donald Walker. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Sam Sharon of Owenton; two daughters, Mary Tackett of Georgetown and Allison Marie Sharon of Owenton; one Sister, Janice Bruener of Owenton and two grandchildren, Also surviving is her companion, Tim Loucks of Owenton. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Tuesday, February11th from 11am until 2pm. Funeral Services will follow at 2pm with Bro. David "Milkweed Wotier" and Bro. Dale Adkins presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Hospice of the Bluegrass, or to Relay for Life. A meal will be served after the service at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Food is welcome anytime on Tuesday.
