Teresa L. Roberts, passed away peacefully at her residence on November 25, 2025. Born on December 2, 1953, in Owen County, she embraced life with a spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Teresa dedicated her life to educating the young minds in her community. As a teacher aide, she poured her love for learning into every classroom she entered, making a lasting impact on her students. Beyond her career, she was a proud secretary and treasurer at the New Liberty Volunteer Fire Department and served as the assistant treasurer at the Dallasburg Baptist Church. Additionally, her commitment to the Owen County Fair Board for 39 years showcased her deep involvement in the community she cherished.
Being part of her church family was paramount to Teresa. Her faith guided her daily life, and she found immense joy in worshiping and connecting with those who shared her beliefs. She often found solace and strength in her spiritual community, where her kindness and compassionate nature shone brightly.
Teresa had a vibrant spirit that embraced many hobbies and interests. Growing up, she reveled in the freedom of riding horses—a love that she carried throughout her life. She was also an avid crafter, creating beautiful pieces that brought joy to her family and friends. But nothing brought her greater happiness than being with her grandchildren—Merideth, Audrey, Molly, and Claxton—who adored their grandmother for her warmth and loving presence.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Cammack and Betty Greene Cammack, who instilled in her the values of hard work and dedication. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Allen Roberts; her daughter, Melissa (Michael) David; her son, Brent (Ashley) Roberts; and her dear aunt, Marjorie Duvall. Together, they are left with countless memories of laughter, love, and the indelible mark that Teresa made on their lives.
