Teresa Voris Fisher

Teresa Voris Fisher, born on October 4, 1961, in Frankfort, Kentucky, passed away on March 4, 2026. She will be remembered fondly as a dedicated professional and a loving family member. Teresa enjoyed a distinguished career with the State of Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions, where she contributed her talents for many years before her retirement.

Teresa was a woman of many passions, Teresa cherished the joys of water skiing, the camaraderie of playing cards, and the simple pleasure of watching birds. She was known for her culinary skills and loved family gatherings that created lasting memories. A voracious reader, she found solace and adventure in the pages of countless books.

Teresa is survived by her mother, Shirley Robinson Hardin, her beloved children, Eden (Ben) Crum and Aaron Fisher, along with her brother Bill (Charlotte) Hardin. She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to Larkin Crum, Audrey Crum, and Matthew Crum, who brought her great joy. Teresa is also survived by her niece, Jessica Hardin, whose presence in her life was cherished.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Voris Hardin whose love and guidance shaped her life.

The community is invited to honor Teresa's life at Monterey Baptist Church, located at 44 High Street in Monterey, Kentucky. Visitation will take place on March 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Teresa's spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
