Tammy Sue Prather

Tammy Sue Prather, age 58, of Owenton passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Norton Hospital in Louisville.Born March 30, 1958, in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late Tommy Melford and Evelyn "Sue" Miracle Taylor.  Tammy was a homemaker and a member of the Long Ridge Baptist Church.Surviving are her husband Jerry Prather; her children, Joyce Ann Renfro, Sue Ann (Nick) Payton, Jerry Monroe "LJ" Prather and Wanda Faye Johnson; her grandchildren, Leland, Josh, Katie, Josh, Shelby, Jessica, Nick, Jr.,and Nathaniel; and her siblings, Terri (Steve) Dodson, Pete (Paula) Melford, Timmy (Sherry) Melford and Ricky Sturgeon.Graveside services will be held at 11am Tuesday in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.  Memorial contributions are suggested to McDonald & New Funeral Homes c/o The Prather Family.
