Suzanne Ellis

Suzanne Brock Ellis, age 53, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Born February 6, 1963 in Knox County, KY she was the daughter of the late James Brock. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Victor and Connie Brock and Jack Ponder. Suzanne was a member of the Southfork Baptist Church and a longtime manager at Sav-A-Lot Foodstores. Surviving are her mother, Shirley Mae Smith Ponder; her children, Larry Hamblin and Dezarae Brock; her brothers Marlow Brock and Joe Ponder; her sister, Janet Ponder and two grandchildren, Megan and Tyler Hamblin. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Monday, September 12th from 5 to 8 and Service Tuesday at 11 AM at Main Street.
