Susie Wallace Skirvin

Susie Mary Wallace Skirvin, 90 of Sparta died January 9, 2009 at the St. Luke East Hospice Center. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maude Lillard Wallace and was the wife of the late Clarence Skirvin. She was a member of the Ten Mile Baptist Church. She was also a homemaker and a former store owner of Sue & Lou Grocery. She is survived by one daughter; Clarissa Sullivan Thompson of Sparta; One brother; Henry Thomas Wallace of Ft. Wright. Also surviving are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-9 pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Ten Mile Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at the church at 9:00am on Monday. Donations may be made to the Hospice of the Bluegrass (St. Luke East Hospice). Burial will be in the Napoleon Cemetery. Pallbearers: John B. Sullivan Jr., Thomas Michael Sullivan, Dustin Sullivan, Clarence David Sullivan, Joseph Wayne Sullivan, and Guy Thompson.
