Sue Carolyn Redmon

Sue Carolyn Redmon, 91, passed away Thursday February 16, 2023 at Lexington Country Place.

She was born June 27, 1931, in Owen County, the daughter of the late Fred Rae "Dutch" Baker and Gracie Belle Skirvin Baker. She was also preceded by her husband Ronald Redmon and her sister Kathy Elvessie Keith. Sue was retired from the State of Kentucky Department of the Treasury and then worked as a Deputy Sheriff for fifteen years. She was a member of Owenton First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son Timothy Joe Redmon of Nicholasville and a special friend, Del Vaught.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main street location on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from Noon to 1 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Bro. Brad Banks presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Owenton First Baptist Church.
