Sue Edna Johnson

Sue Edna Johnson, age 87 and a resident of Carrollton passed away Thursday, August 2nd, at the Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton. Born June 1925, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Daniel Hughes and Minnie Keith Hughes. Sue was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Ann Johnson as well as her husband, Lige Johnson who passed away March 26, 2012 one sister: Lucille Bickers and one brother: Curtis Hughes. Sue worked as a dairy farmer and homemaker. She is survived by two sons: Charles Johnson of Worthville, Ky and Larry Johnson of Madison, In.; one sister: Thelma Butcher; two grandchildren and two great grandchild as well as two step grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, August 6th, from 4-8pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11am. Rev. Steve Butcher will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
