Steven "Tex" Walker

Steven “Tex” Walker. 56 and a resident of Glencoe, passed away Friday, January 15th, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Ky. Born in Ft. Worth Texas in 1953, he was the son of Eloise Rather Walker (surviving) and the late William J. Walker. Tex was a veteran having served his country in the United States Marine Corp and worked as a Brick Mason. He is survived by his wife, Barbara McCarty Walker of Glencoe, one son: Jesse Walker of Glencoe; two daughters: Nicole Ross of Cincinnati and Stephanie Little of Texas; three half-brothers: John, Mike, and Keith Walker; and one half-sister: Debbie Pirkle. Seven grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Visitation will be held at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw, Ky. from 11am until 2pm on Wednesday, January 20th. Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 2pm at the funeral home. Bro. Darrell Maines will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Glencoe Cemetery.
