Stephen M. Dempsey

Owenton- Steve Dempsey, 51 of Owenton passed away on Wednesday at the St. Joeseph Hospital in Lexington. Born, December 9, 1959, in Lexington, he was the son of the late Lon “Dick” and Ruby Noel Dempsey. He was also preceded in death by his brother; Billy Dempsey. Steve is survived by his wife, Robin Beckham Dempsey; three sons; Brandon Dempsey of Corinth, Jeremy (Kayla) Dempsey of Owenton and Derrick Dempsey of Owenton. Three Grandchildren; Trevor, Abigayle and Makenzie. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, October 14th from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 15 at 2pm with Bro. Johnny Thomas and Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery
