Stephen Randall Ayres

Stephen Randall Ayres, 59, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away Wednesday August 21, 2008. Born June 19, 1949, in Frankfort, he was the son of the late Gerald Thomas and Norma Marie Eads Ayres. He was a former Butcher and a long time social member of the VFW Post 1042 in Elmwood Place, OH. He was also a 1968 graduate of Owen County High School and attended Millersburg Military Institute. He is survived by his companion of 18 years, Ruby Ethel Schnelle; son, Stephen Thomas Ayres of Foster; granddaughter, Kyla Marie Aryes of Foster; sisters, Emily (Bennie) Ayres Bridges of North Middletown; Rhonda Sheryl (Charles) Mitchell of Franklin Co; Step Children, Robert (Dori) Schnelle, Jr, Roxanne Schnelle and Yvonne (Joe) Niesen all of Cincinnati and Russell Schnell of West Melbourne, FL; several uncles, great aunts and nephews survive also. Honorary Pall bearers will be uncles, Carl Graham Ayres and Atwood Ayres. Pallbearers will be Bennie Edwards Bridges, JR, Robert Schnelle, Jr., Don Ayres, Don True and Larry Dale Perry. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes, where family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Saturday, August 23rd from Noon until 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. Jesse Bourne officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or Hospice of Cincinnati.
