Stanley Allen Braden

Stanley Allen Braden, age 68, of Owenton, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood, KY.

He was born May 9, 1954, in Gallipolis, Ohio, to the late Harold S. Braden, Sr. and Phyllis J. Parrish Braden of Racine, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his brother Harold Braden, Jr. and sister Lynda Young. Stan retired after 31 years as a chemical operator for M & T Chemicals, Carrollton, KY, in 2009.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, and riding his dirt bikes and four wheelers.  Most of all he will be remembered as a loving father and Paw Paw who cherished his family.

He is survived by his son, Derrick (Christina) Braden of Owenton, KY; three grandchildren, Kayleigh, Emileigh, and Corbin; his sister, Rhonda Tennant of New Haven, WV; and a very special friend, Ruby Vickers.  A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 1 pm at the Pavilion in Hideaway Hills.  He will also be given military graveside honors on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Noon at Sun Rise Cemetery in Letart, WV.
