Shirley Brissey

Shirley Brissey, age 85, of Owenton passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the Owenton Center.

Born February 6, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Catherine Findler and was the widow of Cecil Brissey.  She was also preceded in death by Carol Woodyard.Shirley was a homemaker.

Survivng are her children, Brenda Lamb, Gary Brissey, Tammy King and Steve Brissey; ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  Her sister, Catherine Webster also survives.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Saturday,January 19, 2019, from 11am until 1pm.  Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in Owenton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to McDonald & New Funeral Homes.
