Sherry Ann Moore

Sherry Ann Moore, age 78, of Sparta, passed away at her home on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

Born August 16, 1946, in Gallatin County, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ailene Sutton Herndon.  She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Linda Gagnon and Kenneth Ray Herndon.  Sherry attended Poplar Grove Baptist Church and worked for Herndon's grocery and Meadowview in the deli.  She loved being a homemaker and reading in her spare time.

Sherry will be missed by her loving husband, James "Jimmy" Moore; her sons, Steven (Summer) Moore, Daryl Moore, and Jason Moore; her beloved grandson, Jacob Moore; and her siblings, Dennis Herndon and Tina McAninch.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Following Sherry's wishes, a private interment will be held in Poplar Grove Cemetery.
