Sheila G. Prather

Sheila G. Prather, age 49, of Erlanger, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at her home. Born February 13, 1962, in Wilmington OH, she was the daughter of the late Kirtly “Kirt” and Bessie Sams Prather. Her sister Margaret Prather also preceded her in death. Sheila had a Culinary Arts degree in Hotel Motel Management and Business Administration, she was an accomplished Executive Chef who has catered for presidents and governors. Surviving are her husband, Edward J. Kunkel; her son, Adam Morgan Peterson of Harrison OH; her sister, Paula K. (Darel) Darlington of Erlanger and her brothers, Michael W. Prather of Richwood, Kirt F. Prather (Debi) of Independence and Gary A. (Diata) Prather of Berea. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Wednesday, June 22 from 1-4pm. Funeral services will follow at 4pm. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice.
