Scott Allen Allnutt

Scott Allen Allnutt, age 59, of Owenton, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Born March 4, 1964, in Frankfort, he was the son of the late Jerry Allnutt and Linda Clifton Allnutt who survives.  He was preceded in death by his sister Melinda Neal. Scott was a Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Shelbyville and also the Owen County Building Inspector. He enjoyed being at home, tinkering and building projects in his shop, and keeping his yard in pristine condition. Scott was an avid NASCAR fan, whose favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, ironically passing away on the same day as his idol.  Above all Scott loved his family and being "Grumps" to his seven grandchildren.

He will be missed by his wife of 38 years, Tracy Bramblett Allnutt; his mother, Linda Allnutt; his children, Brad (Lyndsey) Allnutt, Brittany (Willie) Bohart, and Bethany (Cody) Brown; his grandchildren, Trinity, Clayton, Jayla, Brennan, Lincoln, Mason, and Hunter; his mother-in-law, FaDana Bramblett; his siblings, Jenny Coyle, Jeffrey Allnutt, Robin Landrum, and Marty Allnutt; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 11 am until 2 pm. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with Bro. Craig Howard presiding. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery and memorial contributions are suggested to The OBAAT Organization .
